Desktop Support Analyst (IT Support)

Responsible for providing day-to-day technical support to employees for a range of hardware and software related systems. Assists in determining suitable software to meet user requirements. Troubleshoots software and hardware failures and identifies network problems when they relate to computing devices (desktop, laptop, printers, scanners, tablet, phones or other similar devices).
- Responds to users’ problems, queries or complaints.
- Diagnoses problems by engaging users, gathering information, and troubleshooting.
- Resolves users’ problems effectively with timely fault rectification or problem escalation.
- Installs, configures, and maintains the organization's computing devices, using imaging and other solutions.
- Assists in hardware and software evaluation and recommends upgrades or improvements to IT infrastructure.
- Assists with setting up technology for conferences/meetings.
- Other tasks and projects as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Preferred language: Fluent Thai and English Speaking
- Personal accountability
- Technical knowledge: Familiarity with windows desktop and laptop computers, ability to image and add / remove hardware components, printer setup, systems operation, troubleshooting, Windows OS, virus protection software, software installation / removal, basic networking and cabling, MS Office products, mobile device troubleshooting etc.
