Job Summary:
The IT Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining and development of the organization’s information security systems, such as policies, procedures, guidelines, reports, disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Reviewing relate to the all security programs to ensure that data, information assets and critical infrastructure are adequately protected.
Key Responsibilities:
• Write and lead in development /adoption and enforcement of information security policies, procedures, guidelines and standards.
• Identify and assess risks in IT infrastructure and business operations, and provide recommendations for risk treatment. Design and implement security controls to mitigate the identified risks.
• Develop an effective Information Security Strategy, risk management and security controls framework.
• Understand potential and emerging information security threats, vulnerabilities, and control techniques and communicate this information.
• Support Business Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery as related to Information Security.
• Coordinate and follow up to IT auditor and related parties
• Arrange the documentation, filing and maintenance
• Works with upper management and senior executive level staff.
• Conduct security awareness training for users.
• Other assignments as required
